Finding Freedom Through Jesus

Jesus Freedom Ministry is driven by a single goal; to bring the freedom that only Jesus can provide to spiritually and physically oppressed people, their families, and their communities in and around Kenya. This ministry began in the prisons, where we share the gospel of Jesus Christ, but has expanded to schools, and private homes as well. Many prisoners who accept Christ have been miraculously released from prison after their conversion!  Classes and Bibles are provided at the prisons to improve understanding of Jesus and train individuals to return to their own communities equipped to share the gospel.  When these new believers are released from prison, we provide them with Bibles in their own languages, as well as some basic needs such as clothing and shoes, and transportation back to their community.

As the reputation of the Love of Jesus spreads through the work of Jesus Freedom Ministry, more needs come to our attention. These needs are evaluated and addressed on an individual basis.  Widows, orphans, and the handicapped are assisted with improved housing and clothing when the Lord provides the means.  JFM is continually expanding the scope of assistance as needs are addressed and the Holy Spirit guides.

Jesus Freedom Ministry is under the leadership of Benbella Oyalo.  He began this Spirit-led work in 2018.

Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies..

Hebrews 13:3

Jesus Freedom Ministry is touching more lives than ever before thanks to the loving donations of our supporters and the power of Jesus Christ! We work on a variety of projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very humbled by the progress we continue to make. Learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we minister every day to show the reality of the love of Jesus!

At Jesus Freedom Ministry, we are dedicated to reaching prisoners with the Good News of Jesus. Prison evangelism in Kenya is by no means an easy feat, but the Lord has paved a way for us to reach the prisons we serve. We are always striving to make a difference for the Kingdom, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

With this initiative, JFM shows the love of Jesus by creating a safer living environment for those unable to do so themselves.  Providing a new roof, floor, walls, or latrine to those living in dangerous or unhealthy living conditions is life-changing.   Learn more about our work by getting in touch with our team today.

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

JFM has helped many widows, orphans, and disabled individuals and families in Kenya and will continue to do so with the help of ministry partners. Assisting with getting needed medications, school supplies, chickens, or basic necessities such as soap and bedding are just some of the ways we have been able to serve these precious people.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Many students have been in desperate need of new uniforms to wear to school.  JFM has been providing children-in-need with new uniforms and books, reflecting the love of Jesus to both the children and their families.  Many parents have reached out to us following these blessings. Showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways often leads to a desire to learn more about Jesus!
