There may be no better way to communicate what we do than through images. As you browse our site, take a few moments to let your eyes linger here, and see if you can get a feel for the amazing work being done in Kenya through JFM.

Benbella and Board president, Shari Brase-Smith, spoke at one of the fifteen churches started by former inmates served by JFM. Seeing prisoners set free by the love of Jesus, then seeing them be released and go back into the communities preaching the gospel, planting churches, and pastoring churches is the most beautiful sight ever!

Benbella, George, Elvis, and Shari all had a special day with the Busia Women's Prison inmates.

Several of these beautiful women had fled with their families from the Congo where their community was being attacked.  Their "crime" was to cross the border without legal papers.  It was heartbreaking to see these innocents in such a situation.  We spoke with them, we prayed with them, we blessed them with a few basic supplies, and we saw them worshipping Jesus.  Shortly after this visit, the Congolese were set free and reunited with their families!  Praise the Lord!

The Congolese women and thier children under four posed with us for a quick photo before we left that day.

On June of 2024, JFM was led by Holy Spirit to visit the home of Mama Catherine Agatha Mate who is 67 years old and lived in a nylon paper structure, which had left her exposed to attacks from various wild animals, as well as, beatings from thugs whom which her family had hired to intimidate her off her land. Through the prayers and financial support of our amazing donors, JFM raised enough funds to build her a secure home which was constructed of eucalyptus timber, strong roofing materials, and a preservative that was painted on the timber to protect her home from termite damage. After a month and a half of hard work the home was completed and Mama Catherine Mate stepped through the doors of her new life. That same day, JFM hosted an open-air fellowship on the lawn of her new home and the power of God fell so strongly and a Muslim woman in her 60’s surrendered her life to Jesus, as well as several elderly men and woman in their 80’s. The former Muslim woman said she felt like a heavy load had been removed from her back. Due to several news media’s highlighting Mama Catherine’s story, and Article 60 under Kenyan Law which recognizes the rights of daughters to inherit their parents land, all persecution from her family has been put to a halt. She is safe. To God be the glory!
